What’s In My Makeup Bag?
For us ladies a makeup bag is an essential must-have. We carry so many things in our handbags and it can easily become cluttered or messy with all our daily essentials. My makeup bag has pretty much become more of a toiletry bag since I had my surgery. I carry everything from medication to lip balm in my bag. As I have gotten older, I swear my bag gets bigger every year. It’s never problem when you make your own handmade accessories. Here is a look at what’s inside my makeup bag:
Having eczema does not make things easy but when my dermatologist recommended using Cervae. I was happy that I took his advice. It has become a staple at home and when I’m on the go. I use it on my body and face especially in the winter when my eczema really flares up.
I’m never good at knowing when meet ups with work colleagues, family or friends will turn in to a full night of adventures. So, I keep some mascara, eyeliner and blush in my makeup bag just in case. You can never be too prepared to party!
I love Sephora products my obsession began with their now discontinued nail polishes and has grown to include their Lip Gel. I use when I’m going out to give my lips a colorful pop.
This lip balm is my everyday go to when my lips become dry and chapped. It leaves them feeling moisturized and soft for hours.
Just like that my makeup bag switches to a toiletries bag. I keep these must have essentials with me everywhere I go. No one wants to walk around with food in their teeth.
I had been looking for a comb or brush that was small and I could carry in my makeup bag. I didn’t have much lick until I found this combo at a hair store. It’s perfect for touch ups and folds up nicely to fit comfortably in my makeup bag. I also keep ponytail holders and bobby pins in my bag as well.
Since my hair tends to stay dry, I use this crème conditioner to refresh my hair during the day.
Accidents can happen anytime so it’s always better to be prepared.
Pain Relievers & Medications
I keep pain relievers like Tylenol in my bag along with extra medication. I’m not really a morning person so, in case I forget to take anything I have it easily accessible in my makeup bag.
I was introduced to their products while I was in physical therapy. After my surgery, I decided to give them as try and it is great just spray before you go and life is good. I carry one in my bag and have one at home.
I hope you enjoyed the glimpsed into my cosmetic bag. It’s an ever-changing bag that makes my day so much easier and orderly. If I’m going to carry my life around in my bag, I love that I get to do it with a stylish handmade bag.
