How We’re Giving Back During the Times of COVID-19
I hope you are all doing well, healthy and safe during our current COVID-19 pandemic. It’s been a little quiet on our end because I have been working closely with a group of makers creating fabric masks for healthcare workers. This was something very close to my heart as I had surgery last year. I was hospitalized for 10 days with complications and it was the doctors and nurses at Weil Cornell/ NY Presbyterian who took excellent care of me. It was important to me that I give back during these critical times. 144 Collection is proud to be apart of the Project Face Masks group. We are a group of NY Handmade Collective (formerly Etsy NY team) members who are working hard to provide masks to hospitals and healthcare facilities. So far, 144 Collection has shipped out well over a hundred fabric masks and cranking out more every day. As a team, we have distributed well over 1500 masks.
